  • Easy experienceWhenever you are in battle you can go back later to get more experience.
  • Defeating the fire machineThis is the machine you must fight in order to find Katara. Dodge the fire bending. Try running left to right, then right to left. Continue this until you see a flashing light near it, then attack it. Hit it with Aang. You may use a Chi attack but just a plain attack should work just as well, however it takes time. You will have Saka (Katara’s brother) fighting with you to do double damage. Once it has around a quarter of its HP gone, the machine will start throwing fire around. Keep a safe distance from this attack. It causes no real threat to your or your partner as long as you stay as far away as possible.
  • Defeating the Maker’s last machineYou can wait for it to stop attacking, or you can attack it, which will barely affect it. Once it is done attacking, you must attack the sides which turn red.
  • Defeating the prison guardAt first he will shoot fire balls at you. Keep moving left and right, and closer to him. Once you get close enough he will stop and try to hit you with his stick. Take a few steps back and let him try to hit you. Move, and when he stops, hit him. Do this repeatedly until he eventually kneels down. Then, hit him as many times as possible. He will not fight back. When he gets up, repeat the same process until there is a short intermission sequence. He will then use attacks such as curling up in a ball and swinging his bat in a figure eight style on both sides. Wait until he is done and then hit him. Repeat this until he is defeated.

Cheats: Super Paper Mario (Nintendo Wii)

    Flipside’s Pit Of 100 Trials

Successfully complete Chapter 1 and unlock the outskirt in Flipside to unlock Flipside’s Pit Of 100 Trials.

    Flopside’s Pit Of 100 Trials

Successfully complete Flipside’s Pit Of 100 Trials to unlock Flopside’s Pit Of 100 Trials.

    Pit Of 100 Trials bonuses

Successfully complete the Pit Of 100 Trials in Flopside twice to get the Bowser, Dark Bowser, Luigi, Dark Luigi, Mario, Dark Mario, Peach, and Dark Peach cards.

    Hidden mini-games

While in the coffee shop in Flipside B1, enter 3-D mode to access a gold pipe that will take you to an arcade with three mini-games that use different functions of the Wii-mote. You can win prizes for top scores. A fourth game can be unlocked if you have a Gold Card.

    Flipside’s Basement extra mini-game

Get the Golden card to unlock Flipside’s Basement extra mini-game.

    Inifinite 3-D mode with Mario

Successfully complete the Pit Of 100 Trials in Flopside twice to get Mario’s card. This card allows you to enable 3-D mode for an unlimited amount of time.

    Easy experience

After you complete Chapter 5, go back to Chapter 5-4. Go to the pipe that Sapiens keep coming out of, then jump on the block next to it and use Bowser’s flame. He will keep killing all the Sapiens that come out. You can get 7,500 to 10,000 experience points every minute.

Get 500 Coins, then go to the Flopside and buy a special item that is 500 Coins and gives 10,000 experience points. Do not use it yet. Go to a world with a Slow Mo or Speed Up Flower and get one. Then, use it. You will get 30,000 experience points instead of 10,000 experience points.

    Easy Rubees

Buy a lot of Catch-Cards; SPs are optional. Go to a level with Amazee Dazees (the flowers that shoot music notes). Catch as many as you can. Each Amazee Dazee card is worth 300 Coins.

Buy a lot of Life Shrooms in World 1-2. Cook them, then sell them in Flipside for 96 Coins each.

While in the VIP room, start spinning on the gerbil wheel, then jump to the right and run to the left. If you are still on the side, hold Down. If done correctly, you should be sliding and moving faster. This is helpful to getting a lot of Rubees.

    Dashell Pixl

After completing the Pit Of 100 Trials in Flipside, you will fight a dragon, Wrecktail. This is a new version of the first Boss, with the same attacks and same way to defeat it. Once you defeat Wrecktail, you will get a new Pixl, Dashell, who allows you to run at very high speeds.

    Piccolo Pixl

To get the Piccolo Pixl, you first must be able to visit Flopside. Visit Merlee on the second floor of Flopside and talk to her on the opposite side of the crystal ball. Next, talk to Merluvee in Flipside. Talk to Bestovious in Lineland. Talk to Watchitt in Yold. Then, give what Watchitt gave you to Bestovious. Give what Bestovious gave you to Merluvee. Give what Merluvee gave you to Merlee to get a key. Finally, go to the first floor of Flipside and open the locked door near the card shop. Go inside the house and open the treasure chest to get the Piccolo Pixl. Piccolo puts enemies to sleep. There are also special walls with a drawing of him engraved on it; you can use him to make the walls disappear, revealing secret items.

    Pixl abilities

Get the indicated Pixl to unlock the corresponding special ability:

Barry: Shield yourself from enemy attacks and also counterattack.

    Boomer: Blow up objects.

Carrie: Platform that can get you across dangerous areas.

    Cudge: Use a hammer.

    Dashell: Run fast.

    Dottie: Shrink yourself.

Fleep: Flip objects that are stuck in the wrong dimension.

Piccolo: Play special music that disintegrates certain objects.

Slim: Turn sideways and squeeze through very narrow spaces.

Thoreau: Pick up objects then toss them.

    Thudley: Shake the ground.

Tippi: Use the your Wii-mote sensor to scan objects to learn about them and reveal hidden things.

    Free hints

Whenever you get stuck, save the game near your current location. Then, take the return pipe back to Flipside and go to the fortune teller. Once you have your hint, press Home and reset the game. You will return to your save where you were stuck and the price of the fortune teller’s services will never go up.

    Style moves

After landing on an enemy to do damage, you can twist the Wii-mote in your hands and shake it to execute Style moves. Holding Jump during this attack will cause you to jump higher, thus giving you more time to shake and line up for a follow up attack. The more Style moves you do in a row, the higher your multiplier will be. This will greatly increase the pace at which you gain levels.

    Tiptron

At the end of the game, you will not have Tippi anymore. If you want a robotic version of Tippi, go to Chapter 3-4 (Fort Francis), and buy Tiptron for 999 Coins. Tiptron has the same advantages as Tippi. You can use him the same way and shows you the same things.

    Shortcut in Chapter 3-1

In Chapter 3-1, there is an underground portion. Near the end, there are elevators going up. Ride them up and walk along the top. You will come to an area with three warp pipes. Take the middle one to end up much closer to Bowser’s castle.

Getting the Space Helmet in Chapter 4-1

When you first enter the door to Chapter 4-1, you will not be able to breathe and need to find a Space Helmet. Exit and see Merlon. He will tell you he has something, but realizes he gave it away. Go to the third floor in Flipside to find a kid holding a fishbowl. Speak to him and he will give it to you, but you must first find a place to release the fish. Go to Flipside B1. Go to the right until you find a body of water. A dialogue will appear, asking if you want to release him. Say “Yes” and he will be released. Go back to Chapter 4-1 and you will be asked if want to use the helmet. Say “Yes” and you can continue.

    Locked room in Merlee’s mansion

When you have to pay 1,000,000 Rubees, earn 100 Rubees then find a man in red. Give him the 100 Rubees to get the code to get in the VIP room. Then, get 10,000 Rubees and give it to another person in red. Note: You must flip to find this one. He will give you the code to the safe, but you will need a certain Pixl to get to it. To save money, the code to the VIP room is “5963” and the safe is “41262816“.

    Guessing the real Merlee

When you have to choose between the two Merlees, the real one will have a fly going around it from hiding in the toilet.

    Mario series reference

Enter Room 2828 in the Castle Of Francis to find action figures and posters from other Mario games.

    Wii reference

When you enter Francis’ room (with the password “2828“), turn 3-D and look at the far wall and the television. Look to the left, and you will see a Nintendo Wii system with a few games. It even has the sensor bar at the top of the television.

World Traveler: Travel a total of 500 km (310.7 miles).

    Better start

At the start of a level (after purchasing the Mini-Turbo), when you see the flame on Sonic’s chest start flaming usually after the announcer says “1″, start shaking the Wii-mote up and down very fast for maximum results.

    Sonic runs on air

In Levitated Ruin, get to the finish. Once you get to the point where there is a Fire Soul on a rail, die and respawn. Then, go backwards to the previous checkpoint. Do not die on the way. Once you go back as far as possible, continue throughout the rest of the level. Before you get on the path, it will not be there, and you will run on air.

    Defeating the final Boss

Darkspines’ new ability is vital to this battle; by shaking the Wii-mote up and down, Darkspines is able to charge his Soul gauge. The final Boss has four types of attacks. The first consists of multiple energy balls being thrown towards you. He will use this attack when the battle begins, making it impossible to use slow down time. Just move to the left and right to avoid this first barrage. Any other time he uses this attack, you should slow down time to dodge them. His second attack involves him slashing at Sonic with his claws. Simply look where the white lines appear on the screen and dodge accordingly. Make sure to jump if he slashes at the bottom of the screen. His third attack will not occur until you make your first round of hits. He will then create blue energy balls that draw you in for damage. You should also slow down time for this one and use short jump if needed for speed dodging. His final attack leaves him open for attack. He creates a huge energy ball above his head. Speed break to stop the energy ball. When you make contact, Sonic will try to push it back. Shake the Wii-mote rapidly to send it back. Then, shake the Wii-mote to charge Sonic’s Soul gauge and perform another speed break. Sonic will greet the Boss’ weak point on his forehead. Again, shake the Wii-mote rapidly to attack his weak spot. After Sonic sends him flying, recharge your Soul gauge for the next round.

There are two hidden cinematics accessible at the title screen. One can be accessed by remaining idle at the main menu until it starts. The other can be seen by pressing B on the Wii-mote at the main menu.

    Opening doors quicker

When the “Open” command appears by a door, tap A(2) to kick it open quickly. Doing this will also damage any enemies behind the door at the time you kick.

    Easy money

When you get to the church, shoot the bell. Every three times you shoot it, some villagers will appear. Kill them, and you will get anything from Pesetas to ammo and herbs. You can do this as many times as desired. This is effective if you have a lot of ammunition or the Chicago Typewriter.

To earn easy money while playing through the game again, carry an empty Handcannon. It costs no money to have, but you will pick up ammunition for it occasionally. This is worth more than any other type of ammo in the game. After collecting the ammunition, sell it to the merchant. Try using the Chicago Typewriter as your main gun while doing this.

    Reticule feedback

Equip your handgun and aim the on-screen reticule at any torch or suspended light. Some times the reticule will turn red and deliver a slight jolt in the Wii-mote to indicate ammunition or a treasure that you can shoot from the light and retrieve. This is a slight advantage not available in previous versions of the game.

    Avoiding enemies at start

After you use the chief’s false eye to open the door, walk up the hill until the truck comes at you. Shoot it and get back. Once it explodes, walk back up the hill, but go backwards. Keep going all the way to the castle and you will avoid facing the enemies that would normally appear.

    Saving ammunition

If you find yourself surrounded by some parasites of Los Ganados or los Illuminados and do not want to waste ammunition, quickly throw a flash grenade. Once it explodes, it should make the parasites explode, saving your other ammunition.

    Alternate controls

Disconnect the Nunchuck when the game loads. When prompted to attach the Nunchuck, attach the Classic Controller instead. You can play classic style Laser Sight and all.

Remove the Nunchuck, and insert a GameCube controller into port one. You will now have a laser sight on your weapons and be able to use all of the GameCube’s normal controls. Note: This is very helpful for sniping.

    Defeating El Gigantes

When fighting an El Gigante in its second form, take out your Killer 7 and shoot the parasite, or climb on its back and cut it. Either way, this saves health, ammunition, and a lot of frustration. Note: This is really only beneficial if you do not have one of the special weapons.

    Defeating Milita

Instead of shooting for their head, shoot them in the knee, then walk up to them. Instead “Kick”, “Suplex” will appear. This will usually kill them instantly. This will not work if their head is armored.

    Defeating the Regenerator

If you find your rifle is empty, you can also defeat the Regenerator by shooting a mine into the spot around the parasite. If it is on its back, shoot out its legs with your handgun, then fire a mine into its back. If this does not work, find out where the parasite is on the Regenerator and try again.

    Defeating U3 (It)

While you are in the giant crates, you can maneuver around U3. When you get to the gate, it will follow you. Run around and shoot it, bringing it closer to the explosive barrels. When you run out of barrels, fire either your shotgun or magnum.

    Leon hat trick

To make Leon do a special trick with his hat, unlock the gangster costume and Chicago Typewriter. At any point in the game while in Leon’s gangster costume, take out the Chicago Typewriter, aim, and shake the Wii-mote to reload. Leon will make a noise and move his hat. If you do this four times, he will throw his hat in the air and catch it on his head.
