    Sony and Toshiba working together

Sony it now seems, that even though during the development acts like money is no object, does bear heavy duty loses and those after all do take their toll on it. So in order to reduce those costs (which was accounted to be around more then 200 billion yen)only for its processors, Sony has decided to make a deal with Toshiba,  Japan’s largest chipmaker and electronics dealer to create the new chips and continue the existing ones with a less cost to both companies. Although the financial terms havent deen either discussed or closed the deal seems to have been made.

    News: Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter is back and with a punch. After 10 years of hibernation Capcom has decided to renew its age old famous arcade game Street Fighter. A trailer was released for the new Street Fighter IV which shows the two warriors locked in a titanic combat. Ryu and Ken are found in a moonlit forest exchanging blows, dodges parries, dragon punches, hurricane kicks, and what not. Suddenly Ryu charges up a fireball and the screen shows the title Street Fighter IV “prepare yourself”. This is enough to tingle the minds of the long time fans of Street Fighter. But the graphics here appear to be 3d. So the question is now is whether the new Street Fighter will be 3d or remain in a 2d enviornment with just cool looking graphics. Either way will it appeal to the hearts of millions like it once did when arcade games used to a craze and people would find kids jammed up in a shop twiddling the joystick and splayed fingered over multitude of buttons for combos and kicks. Only time will tell…

  • Alternate title screenUnlock the Black Elite Racer to have that car featured at the title screen.
  • Easy CrashbreakerWhen your Crashbreaker meter is at 99%, press A. You will only have to tap B two or three times to get a full Crashbreaker. Additionally, hold R until the Crashbreaker meter gets to 100%. When it does, it will be easier to blow up your car with Black.

Use Impact Time on Crash events before the Crashbreaker meter fills. The slower time makes the Crashbreaker easier to bring back up to 100% without having to wildly tap the button.

  • Easy TakedownsGet behind another driver and hit them while using the boost to usually get a Takedown.
  • Drifting around cornersWhen drifting around a corner (mainly hairpins), if your car is oversteering into the inside wall hold Boost and it will move away from the wall. If your car is heading for the outside wall, release Accelerate and it will move away from the wall.

While going around a curve do not release A, instead press B (brake) and turn in the desired direction and you will drift around the curve. This will help lessen crashes.

  • Glancing off cornersIf you glance off a corner (not crash into it) while turning or drifting around it, you can hold Boost to return to top speed a lot faster than waiting for the car to accelerate itself. This is very useful on “Burning Lap” and “Preview” events where the gold medal is difficult to obtain.
  • Light carsLight cars are quick, agile, and jump well but lack power in impacts and Crashbreakers. When jumping in strong winds, the Aftertouch responsiveness is affected.
  • Medium carsMedium cars are good all-rounders with balanced weight, speed, and Crashbreakers that deliver a decent crash performances.
  • Heavy carsHeavy cars are best at smashing through traffic, but slower with less Aftertouch responsiveness (but are less affected by wind). They have the most powerful Crashbreakers.

    Developers doubtful about Wii

Ever since Wii came along, developers have been shunning out one game after another and they have all been hits, owing it to the popularity of the interactivity factor of Wii. However, lately that popularity is decreasing along with the number of titles coming out on the console and despite nintento insisting that they can hardly keep up with the demand for the console, developers have started being nervous about making new Wii games. Several newspapers have been researching the demand for Wii in recent times and several developers seem to be claiming that the only benefit gained from Wii’s success was aimed at nintendo, and its ability to predict demand for the console. Developers have been thinking along the lines that put Wii into the position of being a fad that wil fade away in time along with other consoles that didnt make it, whereas others have been listing Wii in the category of one of them ost successful consoles of all time. Only time will tell the fate of the infamous Wii and its advantages and disadvantages.

Revealing the contents of “The Orange Box”

Ever since it was officially announced last year, gamers have been driven to call itValve Softwares The Orange Box the best bargain in all of gamings history. While the statement can be debated upon, it cannot be denied that this particular game is one of the must-haves of late 2007 releases, and not just that, it has to be one of the best ittles out there on Xbox 360 to date. The classic Half-Life elements have been regenerated and used to create a highly entertaining and equally innovative reminiscence of the game, hence reelingi n old fans as well as new. Although there are a few issues to be dealt with in the game, it is just as enjoyable as all the other Half-Life titles have been. It comprises of single-player action, offering the player a solid limit of 8-10 hours of gameplay. The player is also going to be geting the chance to play the previoulsy released Half-life 2 Episode one, and the newly released Half-life 2 Episode 2, which is the icing on top, proving itself to be the best bit about the Orange Box. It also introduces Portal, which is a mind-bending title blending pure  first-person action with puzzle-solving, along with Team Fortress 2 which was one of the top games to bring multiplayer action to the masses, and which as been previously previewed.
